This is my favourite picture from the morning I spent at Bedruthan on the beautiful Cornish coast. The 90 sec exposure has created a sense of movement in the clouds.

A quite striking image

Possibly one of the most peaceful places, certainly the day I visited. I just sat on the beach and waited for the sun to drop on to the horizon.

There can't be many more beautiful places than Staithes nor a better vantage point to take photographs from. I never tire of going back.

There are fewer more spectacular parts of the coast in Cornwall. True there are more dramatic scenes when the weather turns stormy but on a day like this what could be more beautiful?

Taken early one May morning with perfect conditions

It had been an overcast day in Cornwall and the sky looks moody as the tide comes in over the rocks at Bedruthan Steps

As I was taking this, I realised the tide had come in a bit more quickly than I expected. I like the result but I got wet feet getting back to the car park
